The only resource we had was our breeder vet. She says that at 12 weeks, if they are overshot, it is for life, with a small chance of improving it or fixing it by removing the bottom canines. Also, she says that the only age that you can remove those little canines is at 15 weeks. Prior to that, the removal of the baby teeth (which still have a very long root) may possibly damage the adult teeth and after that, there isn't enough time left for improvement. If the puppy is still overshot at 12 weeks, you should consider them to be pets but still take steps to improve the mouth for the sake of their adult health. Now....before anyone decides to take exception to what I've said...it's all based on my vet's say so. I don't know anymore than I have just typed in. Different vets may well have different opinions. We followed her advice and it does appear to have helped. The puppy is now six months old. Myra
