Well, I couldn't stand it any longer so here's what I wrote. I'll let you all
know if she writes back but I highly doubt she will.

Lynda,

You have impressive web sites both the toy/teacup poodle and toy cavalier ones.
I was reading your standard for the toy cavaliers and noticed under temperament
that meanness, shyness are to be disqualified in the show ring. I would love to
know what show ring I would be able to see these toy cavaliers in? The allowable
colors in the registries I am familiar with, AKC, UKC, KC and CKC (that's
Canadian KC not Continental) etc. do not include sable, chocolate tris and the
rest of the rainbow menagerie you have listed. I also noticed that you have no
pedigrees listed for either breed. That's a pity, I am sure most would find it
very educational to see a pedigree with the color of each ancestor listed so we
may learn how exactly one does get a chocolate tri or sable. You know, I can not
seem to find a registry besides yours that registers "Toy Cavaliers" and I am
pretty good at searching the internet for stuff so I am wondering does this mean
you also hold your own shows? I mean your written standard does include
disqualifications. In addition, you state that you have been breeding and
showing for 20 years. AKC has not one Cavalier registered with your kennel name
and only has 7 registered with your Poodle kennel name none of which I might add
have ever been pointed or titled at any AKC show. Furthermore, most reputable
breeders that show tend to choose names that are a bit more creative than
Sharmin VIII, IX and X. I think that if you have been breeding and showing for
twenty years you'd have something to show for it. You also claim that you dogs
(both breeds) are checked and certified for all their health clearances. I find
it amazing that as much as you seem to tout the importance of health clearances
not one of your dogs of either breed is listed in OFA's databse. Care to
explain?

Terrie
