If your Pergo is noisy then it wasn't properly installed. We have Wilsonart in the sunroom where my dogs are and I have never heard any noises due to the floor. Wilsonart has to have a layer of cushioning material to be properly installed which was done with ours so that may explain the difference. I bet that your Pergo was not installed with the proper underlayer. Not having the underlayer would make the floor pop with every step. Is this what is happening for you?? All the best, Susan Cochran
