That is the statement I am referring to..sorry, I didn't see *several* long time Cavalier breeders disagree. Actually, I saw none. By long time breeders I mean successful breeders not someone who turns out many puppies per year for many years. That, in my mind, is a puppy mill..milling..good conditions perhaps but a mill non the less. Everyone that is a true student of dogs knows a dog can be ruined by one event..perhaps it can be rehabilitated if proper training takes place... perhaps not. Cavaliers are meant to be *comforters*..that makes them *soft*..That isn't an insult..in my mind it's a good thing.
