Neither one of my Cavaliers have their dew paws removed. i usually send Charlie to the groomers with Cha Cha (the poodle) and 99% of the time they forget to cut his dew claws. It's amazing how fast they grow. It would be so easy to forget about them and they could end up growing right into the leg. But then again I fear that cutting the dew claws may be painful.
