But back to the mode of transmission for this eye problem. I thought geographic retinal dyplasia was a lot of retinal folds and that mode of transmission was thought to be polygenic. And that the reason for not breeding dogs with the geographic retinal dysplasia was the risk of producing puppies with retinal detachment.
