I'm sure that new information comes forth all the time, but our canine eye Dr. says that folds and geographic dysplasia can be diagnosed at 8 weeks of age. If something happens after that point, maybe it isn't genetic in nature, but possibly environmental? Nutritional? One of our girls appeared to be forming a cataract. The canine doc was certain it was nutritional. She put her on natural Vitamen E, bilberry, and Lutein every day for 3 months, and when we returned, all signs of the cataract was gone. Myra
