I have to thank Betty Turner for alerting me to HD. My girl is now over 6 and doing OK with very severe HD. Betty advised me to have her tested as she was familiar with the breeding. As this girl was my first Cavalier I do tell people that if you want to buy a Cavalier you deserve 6 pieces of paper: heart, eyes and hip clearances on BOTH parents. If you don't ask the question, you don't get an answer. The trick is to learn what questions are critical when seeking a puppy.
