Hi Mary,

There are no stupid questions! Your regular vet takes the x-ray and sends
into OFA for evaluation. OFA requires that your dog be at least 2 years of
age when the xray is taken for a final determination but you can have a
preliminary evaluation done at a younger age, if you wish. Here is a link
