When I brought Savvy home a few weeks ago I just took her out of her soft carrier and put that through the x-ray machine and I carried her through the check point. After going through I put her back in the carrier and when we got inside the cabin had her in the space on the floor underneath the seat in front of me. We flew on American and the extra charge was $80.
