This is total news to me also. It's been my understanding that a CKCSC, USA member absolutely could not breed their dog or bitch (even if that dog or bitch was dual-registered with the AKC!) to an AKC-ONLY dog or bitch, *regardless of the AKC-only dog's country of origin*, due to ethics violations. Am I wrong? Just by reading the posts so far this morning there's a fair amount of conflicting/confusing information already. I'd be very curious if someone 'in the know' could please clear all this up for me! Just what exactly is and is not currently allowed regarding the breeding to AKC-only dogs/bitches if they do in fact also possess another recognized foreign registration such as the KC's?
