O.K. Can we simplify this a bit? There are many agencies that one can register a dog, horse, etc with.. I believe that most of the people on this list are not of the bad sort....and would like to do the very best they can by this breed.. All my Cavaliers are reg. with both akc and ckcs. However I KNOW there are bloodlines in other countries that are reputable as well..DNA seems to be the standard to the future as for verification and guidelines...for breeders..those who test (health) or not and ages..AKC is going this way as we speak..CKCS should hold firm on this .. how hard is it to get these two agencies (akc&ckcs) together DNA testing? and a registry that compiles names of dogs that are health tested, etc, and at what age. DNA is DNA and records of health test are just that..Why can"t we as the caretakers of this breed iron out the problems.... So let's address the problems with this which are?? Speak up ..lets ask for vote . what ever it takes..The politics are trivial and can be overturned. There are good dogs out here who are overlooked, we are in an already small gene pool some who have alot to offer this breed. Joy Glenn-Sessions St. Cloud Fla.
