Hi, List,
I think that this sums up a good deal of my own opinion. I would like to
add my words though......MY pets ARE my show girls ARE my breeding
bitches. If you take away my discretion in deciding how, if and when to
breed them you are threatening the health of MY pets. I do not want to
come close to losing another bitch to a pyometra. I want the discretion
to make a decision based on all aspects of my breeding progam and the
health of my own dogs.
I hope that this is more clearly understood now by those who think that
there are teams; breeders vs pet owners. We are........as many have
said before, ALL pet owners and our precious breeding dogs ARE our pets.
Best,
Suze (and Gary who has cried buckets over almost losing his ruby girl
Ch. Flying Colors Cherry Bomb "Kira" and having lost her ability to
*ever* have puppies)
