Well, Sharon,
I agree as to the meaningless nature of health warrantee. However, I did
say a great bit more than just "I'll take the puppy back". I said I am
there for the life of the puppy/dog/bitch as a resource to those who
purchase from me. I spend hours answering questions, helping locate
trainers, discussing diet and all manner of other concerns. (OK, some of
these are really silly questions, but I'm there to answer them, too.
<G>) Should any of my puppies have health concerns, I would refer the
buyers to specialists with whom I personally have a relationship and
work hard to make sure that they got what they needed.

In actual fact, I do this for anyone who calls me even if they don't have
one of MY Cavaliers. <G>

So, being a breeder is enormously time consuming; I've spent entire days
of entire weeks talking on the phone and answering emails at night. We
really do our best to help in whatever ways that we can.

And, Sharon, as I breed for my own breeding program to go on with one to
show and breed from, I, too have to "live with the results" of my
choices. I've been wrong before and I'm going to be wrong again. This
is a very difficult dog to breed (ask the really experienced breeders on
this list) and get things right. But we're trying..........

Best,

Suze
