I have to agree with Charlotte. In my experience with puppies, kittens, and
children, the warranty expires as soon as they come in the door. I'd no
sooner return a puppy than I'd take my child back to the hospital and ask
for another one. (Tempting though the thought was now and then -- especially
with the kid.)

The offer is OK, I guess, as a sign of an ethical breeder, but it's totally
meaningless in the real world. I couldn't control the throw of the genetic
dice for my daughter (even though all bad behavior could be clearly traced
to my husband's side of the family). With a puppy, I can be a little more
discriminating but inevitably I'll have to live with the ultimate result of
the breeder's choices. (So I want to know as much as possible about what
those choices were.)
