Certainly, shorter cycles would expose the uterus to the higher levels of
progesterone more often, so yes, they could cause more endometrial damage.
But I don't know if endometrial hyperplasia causes short cycles, ie if the
cause-effect relationship goes in both directions.  I will keep an eye out
for studies.
