Sharona-

My blenheim boy came up with a heart murmur before he turned two. At the
recommendation of a holistic vet (Dr. JoAnne Stefanatos in Las Vegas) I put
him on CoQ10 - I think he was about five at the time. He is now 12-1/2 years
old, and although his mumur has progressed to a grade IV/V, he is still
symptomless, still playing catch, and as active as one would expect a boy his
age to be. He still gets his 30 mg CoQ10 once a day.

By the way, several years ago, when I had him at his annual heart check with
the cardiologist, I mentioned the CoQ10 to Dr. Michael Lesser. His reply was
that, although there weren't any studies that he knew of proving its
effectiveness, he had heard some good things about it and said it could not
hurt. I now give it to my oldies (my 14-year old boy is still murmur-free,
as is my 9-year old B&T boy); I also put anyone who comes up with a murmur on
it.

All the best-
