Hello List,

My first breeding quality Cavalier is now ten years old. The first time I had her
Cerf'd she had folds. At the time, I did not know enough to know anything about this
or what it meant, so I bred her. Now after 5 litters and 8 years later. I have
several dogs from her including my newest litter which are her great-great
grandchildren. Of all those I have kept, I have never had any of them show any
retinal folds. Maybe I have just been lucky, but to me hips and hearts are just way
more important. I do not test my whole litter but I am going to do some thinking
about doing so in the future. But I always test before I using anything for breeding.
