this is usually the best way to "learn linux". start with what you want to or 
need to accomplish and start exploring the available tools. so just keep 
looking for the next "i would like to....", like you did with the games or 
the CFStudio thing...

but trying to "learn what linux can do" without having any real goals is a lot 
like trying to eat an elephant in one big swallow.

i'm not familiar w/what CFStudio offers. i know (or at least think i know ;) 
it's a macromedia thing for cold fusion, right? what does it offer exactly? 
knowing what you use it for, we might be able to point you in the right 
direction.
