thanks for the note... Apparently the cd comes with 'wget' which is working better... so I got the
Stage 3 for i586 tarball. The tarball unfortunately had errors when I untarred it... I think the i586 one will work on my 166mhz... (I hope) Another weird thing though. I used RedHat 8 before and the second disk on my machine refuses to let go of the label and the filesystem despite my fdisk attempts...
