True, but I don't know any easy way to explain how people can tell because there are some that can not be programmed mostly in older systems. I don't know if any system having the newer chips would be going for scap, but it could happen.

If people could just save the chips, we can pick out the programmable ones later.

Just a note, you should be able to reprogram most bios chips even if they 
aren't UV-erasable. A lot of newer bioses are EEPROMs so they too can be 
reprogrammed with a PROM burner.
