First, there was a reading and discussion of the proposed CLUG society By-Laws. Presentations followed by a representative for TechnoTrash and CRS, and a representative for Digital Freedom. The meeting ended with a Q&A period. After the Q&A period and listening to the comments, the members seemed to be satisfied that their questions and concerns were addressed. Also, those who expressed a desire to volunteer, said that they would like to participate in some kind of recycling event that can help the societies that CRS is involved with. One member's comments can summarize the response: "It would be a match made in heaven" (i.e. getting a group that works with donated hardware together with a group that works with OS software.) CRS will update CLUG members of up coming recycling events. As for an Installfest at the CRS, that was decided to be taken into consideration when the Nov.16 date approaches. What will decide it is the vote over CLUG-TALK on where and when and whether there are enough people to attend.
