great! =) if you want to take it further and make it use artsdsp everywhere... the easiest way is to probably create an item in your KMenu for realplayer using the menu editor. once you have done that, open up the File Associations control panel (under File Manager in 2.2.x and 3.x IIRC, under KDE Components in 3.1). expand the Audio entry in the tree on the left and click on the appropriate realplayer file mimetypes one by one. click remove any unwanted entries and then hit "Add". select the Real Play item you made from the menu listing that pops up and voila! now KDE will use "artsdsp realplay" when you launch it from a KDE app a screenshot of doing all this can be seen here: http://urbanlizard.com/~aseigo/realplayMenuEntry.png - -- Aaron J.
