I would consider UofC, SAIT and DeVry all pretty close to central Calgary. SAIT probably being closest to the center. This was also a consideration to keep the meeting place fairly central. What DeVry lacks in being as close to Downtown is made up for by access from Deerfoot. I would say that Downtown is the true centre of Calgary and it would be nice if we could meet there somehow but in all honesty you cannot please everyone. Somebody is going to have to travel. What I have been really impressed with in the recent past is that people have attempted to carpool. There has been the odd member that has asked for a lift from someone else and in my experience, someone has volunteered. Wonderful!
