My only concern with the UofC is that the booking would probably have to go through the Student Union. Based on past experiences they were pretty expensive to rent / book rooms for events for non SU activities. I know this because I ran a club while I was a student there and though the rooms were free to SU clubs, SU club activities were pretty expensive.
