Granted, I am interested in the topic as well. We only have 20 minutes,
can we do the topic justice or would a generic presentation with
promotion of the Scalix solution be a better investment of time and
energy. My general conversation on FOSS will only last about 3 minutes
-- the best use of the time on stage would be to point to the booth
where we would have more time to discuss specific FOSS solutions and the
purpose of Clug. The meat of the presentation is more to highlight
globalization, today's situation and why the Linux and FOSS movement is
important. While the presentation may not be technically, it was never
meant to be. I am a business person first with a strong technical bent
and I am just offering my services.

On the contrary, if I only had time to attend one presentation that day,
it would be the one that would enable me to convince executives in plain
language why we need to take a certain path. The main difference
between us is that I have dealt the senior management and you are more
comfortable with the actual technical solutions. It is the same
objective, just a different battle. I have seem many a battle remain on
paper because the battle in the conference room was lost.

If the group believes that Scalix would be a better presentation for the
Open House, then please make it known quickly so that I can make other
plans and Kevin to start preparing for the meeting.

BTW, I didn't realize that you don't like cats.
