I would say that you can never have too many instruments (I am at 2 drum
sets, 1 guitar, and 2 keyboards).

I would consider unloading one of them, since I am using neither at the
moment :)

The midiman 1x1 has its cables as part of the unit, which is handy if
you plan on carrying this thing around.
