Maybe I can help with this. The Facility Quality Indicator Profile does not include data from the initial admission assessment, but the Resident Level Quality Indicator Summary includes all MDS assessments including the initial admission assessment, therefore they can be different. Does that make it as clear as mud? I am having problems with the the quality indicator report also. I have placed 2 calls into CMS for clarification and have not gotten any response. What I have found is that the numbers on the Facility Quality Indicator Profile do not match what is on the Resident Level Quality Indicator Summary. I dont know what is going on. I hope I hear back from some one soon.
