Being upset is no excuse for destruction of documents. If it was, then all the Big corporations could use that as an excuse for destroying documents showing who was behind things like manipulating stock prices, etc. It will take wisdom to determine what to do in this situation, but there is no excuse for destroying any documents that are part of a resident's chart.
