It is different from place to place, dependeing on what the person is able to do. I am able to tie questions on the MDS together, recommend programs, etc. As a result, we have no flags on the quality indicators. I am paid (as an LVN) more that all RN's in the facility with the exception of the DON. 180 beds. Pay goes up as you are able to do other things, such as stand nose-to-nose with the surveyers and quote them chapter and verse.

Is your MDS position paid more or less than the floor RN?
