At the last hospital I was based at, the MDS position was considered the equilivant to 
a floor nurse position.  At prior hospitals it had a slightly higher range, but I was 
frequently paid less than the floor RNs, because they would have 20-30 years of 
experience.

Currently, I am in a nursing home.  I am paid about the same as I was in the last 
hospital that I worked in.  I have no idea what the floor RNs are being paid here.
