I am in missouri. I work for a 300 bed facility. I am currently doing mds's for 150 residents plus infection control, wound nurse and quality improvement monitoring. ( usually 100 res but one mds coord on Maternity leave).
Human resources provides salaries on Licensed basis, experience as a licensed nurse on a scale. So wages vary. However if in managment such as DON or House supervisor you make > $22.00 per hr automatically.

I am paid more but then I am direct supervisor for all licensed and unlicensed staff also, and really function as ADON in our SNF that is attached to a CAH, MDS is just one small part of my job.

We are less than nurse managers but it is a mix with staff nurses depending on seniority status.

I would appreciate it very much.

Is your MDS position paid more or less than the floor RN?
Are you hospital or nursing home based?

Thank you very much
Karen
I am nursing home based and make the same as the floor nurses but no where near what hospital nurses make.
