Teresa, Achy joints and bones seems to be a common side effect of the Gleevec. I get stiff joints like in my knees if I sit too long, but once I get up and walk around it goes away. I ocassionally get achy bones but it is very mild and seems to be right around where I've had my bmbs. I only know to suggest getting plenty of potassium and calcium. I hope he more comfortable soon. Take care, Brenda
