Wendy, Sorry about your dx but I'm very glad to see your finding the support groups. It helps so much to be able to ask questions and get advice from veterens. I know if was of great help to me. Your dealing with a lot right now so remember we are here when you need to talk. Can you provide us the background on your dx and what your counts were, phase your in so on. Gleevec has been a wonderful drug for most and has lead to even more positive findings. Try to learn as much as you can about the disease to help you understand, the first month was the hardest for me, but by three months I finally felt like I understood the disease, the treatment and all the terminalogy.
