I have been on 400mg glivec for 4 months now, and I feel I have the side
effects pretty much under control! I take iboprufen for the bone pain and
headaches that are a normal part of my day now. I take the glivec at lunch
time, as I was told taking it at night was not good (for some reason). I get
really tired and have a kindy kip for an hour or so and then feel fine
again. The doc says its ok to drink one or two cups of coffee a day, but
decaf is best. Also caffeine free coke - if thats what you drink. I gained
a few kilo's in the the first couple of months but seem to have levelled out
now, I have my appetite back! WooHoo!!
