For those of you on Sprycel have you experienced severe shortness of breath? I did and the hematologist found a lab to do a Sprycel level, apparently a research lab willing to do the test for free. It was drawn the Friday before Martin Luther King Day and I should know results on 1/25/2010 (tomorrow). Hopefully I was on too much Sprycel and they can lower the dose which hopefully will resolve the shortness of breath. The Leukemia responded wonderfully to the Sprycel however at 0.0004 I believe.

The 140mg was too much for me. It gave me horrible headaches, so they lowered the dosage to 100mg and my bcr-abl has remained at 00.1 and I have been fine now for over 2 years. It does have it's side effects, but they were easier on me than the Gleevec. Good luck and I hope your doc does not wait too long to switch you.
