Victoria, I think you missed my point. You wrote, "Our representatives in 
Congress receive health-care coverage that every other citizen in the country 
would love to have", and you are absolutely right, "every citizen in the 
country would love to have it"!

My question was, if the new healthcare bill is so great, why are our elected 
representatives in the house and senate exempted from having to be on it. Why 
do they get to stay on their own special health insurance. I would think that 
it would be the moral and ethical thing for them to say, "that we are so 
confident in the quality of care in this new healthcare bill, that we will go 
on it just like everyone else in the country"! 

Wouldn't that have been proof that they really believe this healthcare bill is 
a good thing? Plus, there is a moral and ethical responsibility to do so, 
wouldn't you think? I mean, how moral is it to do something to everyone else 
that your not willing to do to yourself?
