The best CM seminars/presentations exclude discussions about specific
products and focus on CM issues. For many organizations it would be
premature to discuss the merits of specific products - they're still in the
early stages of understanding CM and how it applies to their organization.

For these organizations I recommend Tom Weiss, James Robertson, Phil Suh,
Tony Byrne and other members of the list who offer excellent insight and
cover many facets of CM on their websites, in their articles, and in their
books.

For those with a firm grasp of CM and a clear understanding of their org's
CM requirements, I believe Steve's seminar is a nice, convenient way to
compare and discuss 4 of the many systems now available. As for bias...I
wouldn't be too concerned. My experience over the past several years has
shown that many buyers have developed keen olfactory senses - they can smell
a slant at a thousand yards.
