I think it IS an interesting comparison for exactly the same reasons.  Many
organization's have yet to grasp the incredible depth, breadth, variety and
value differential  of CM features available today.  And those who focus too
narrowly on a specific segment of the CM marketplace (without first
identifying if they're looking in the right place) tend to under or overbuy
functionality.   By first comparing products across the feature/price
spectrum they can zoom in on a specific segment or product *class* that
appears to adequately satisfy their organization's level of need.  Then,
through further research and evaluation, they can compare similar products
in the same *class*.
