Nate: I'd highly recommend settling for a gift certificate and waiting until
you can do the measurement on site when the snow is gone, or get someone
local to measure and take pictures. There is no guarantee that any other
30-1 is identical to yours.

Santa is going to upgrade my ancient (cassette player) sound system from the
PO. One issue in picking a new system is cockpit speakers - would be nice if
they fit the existing holes (and yup, should be magnetic shielded too - I
actually use my compass sometimes).

 

Anyone happen to know the size of the two access plates beneath the engine
compartment vents on the transom of the 30-1? The choices seem to be 6", 8"
or `10". I'm guessing 8"... but the boat is 4 hours away in the snow...
