I'll go down and measure mine tomorrow. Went today and found they had shrink wrapped the boat, and then installed the door over the wrap - have to take scissors down tomorrow. It's only a block away.

Santa is going to upgrade my ancient (cassette player) sound system from the PO. One issue in picking a new system is cockpit speakers - would be nice if they fit the existing holes (and yup, should be magnetic shielded too - I actually use my compass sometimes). Anyone happen to know the size of the two access plates beneath the engine compartment vents on the transom of the 30-1? The choices seem to be 6", 8" or `10". I'm guessing 8"... but the boat is 4 hours away in the snow...
