I mounted a pair of speakers (West Marine flush mount) in the access ports
under the helm seat. The speakers were smaller diameter than the access port
cutouts. I removed the access port mounting rings, and replaced them with
adapter rings which I made from acrylic. I then mounted the speakers to the
adapter rings. I still have access by unscrewing the speakers. The West Marine
speakers have decent sound for thirty bucks. However, the front grill of the
speakers get brittle, and will eventually break, when exposed to the weather.
