I go longer than a year between fuel filter changes, and have never cleaned
out my tank. I do use Soltron additive when I remember (that nasty age thing).
I am thinking that is still nasties floating around in your tank. Do you see
any contamination in your filter bowl?

Last year after we changed both fuel filters and then cleaned out the tank on
the 29-2. On the weekend it appears that the filters need to be changed again.
