I had leaks in the cabin from a source I could not identify, so I did all the bolt heads on my genoa tracks. If you put the worm of butyl at the junction of the conical head and the bolt, not much is pushed above the head since they sit in a countersunk cavity. It's easy to scrape off any excess butyl that is pushed up after tightening the bolts, so there is nothing for the car to catch on. Hasn't been a problem so far. Dave
