Thanks for the detailed report and root-cause analysis. Since you have already implemented and verified a fix locally on the 2.3.13 branch, would you be willing to open a PR against `dev`? Please include a test (ideally extending the existing MySQL CDC E2E tests) covering stop.mode = "specific" on the incremental split. Confirming triage: the stop-offset check exists in MySqlBinlogSplitReadTask (snapshot backfill) but is missing in MySqlBinlogFetchTask (incremental split), which matches the reported behavior in #6789 and #7400. Those were closed by the stale bot without a fix, so this issue should stay open until resolved. When fixing this, please also verify whether other CDC connectors sharing the incremental fetch framework (e.g., Postgres/SqlServer/Oracle CDC) have the same missing stop-offset check in their incremental fetch tasks, so the fix can be applied consistently. <!-- streview-comment:46 --> -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
