Updated the original branch at `b40da1500cf0` after merging current dev. The local port override now preserves the existing TCP/IP member list when absent, uses the actual member address for client connection, disables fixed-port fallback, and validates programmatic/cluster-mode use. The redundant reconnect block and fixed-port smoke cases were replaced with command-entry coverage of real ephemeral startup and client connection.
