Windex on the circuit boards (the context in which I mentioned it) is 
perfectly safe; it's mostly water, with a trace amount of denatured 
ammonia, and a surfactant. Won't do ANY harm to a circuit board 
(unless it's powered up and running, need I say?).

But the Windoze reference was cute heh heh :)

I'm not encouraging everyone to rush out and pressure-wash all their 
circuit boards, I'm just saying that as a tech I've done this 
*myself* many times, with good results. Just passing it on. Anyone 
washing their circuit boards, scrubbing the CRT with SOS pads, or 
stuffing their Mac into the dishwasher or carwash for a couple of 
cycles, does so at their own risk.
