I very much doubt any of this list will actually wash a circuit board

LMAO, ROTFLMAO AAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! <Bangs on the floor>

Man that must have been funny - I never usually have that much energy at 8:35 in the morning :).

I clean my cases with a self-foaming aerosol case cleaner, which is about 1.50 a can, and do the tough spots with repeated applications of Isopropyl alcohol, for which I vouch has no serious side effects on the ABS plastic. As IPA (that's NOT Indian Pale Ale!!) is an alcohol it is also safe for flushing circuit boards off with and makes a pretty good job, any remaining oin the board after careful drying will evaporate as soon as you turn on the machine.
