Hmm, never fired this beast up. ;)
Currently using
<http://support.intel.com/support/dayna/scsitrbl.html#1>
as a reference, but I guess you have seen that. I'm also struggling with
the cable, having to use the Dayna link as the second device on the
external scsi chain. Im not sure how much success I will have or if it
will be of any use to you.

Plugging mine in, I have the power light and the link-status light on
solid with one or 2 blips on the activity light. The active light on the
hub also comes on. Not having a router, I cant help you with why there's
no active light on your router. Sadly that's as far as I can go as the
Dayna doesn't wont to be second on the chain. My classic suffers from a
Finder address error with the software installed. The installer couldn't
find the device so I forced the install so its of little wonder.

Did you do a easy or custom install?
What TCP stack are you running? Open Transport or Mactcp?
As you've probably noticed the intel site doesn't give much help
regarding TCP across this device

Looks like the device is working.

# Send Echo
A utility used to send Ethernet packets back and forth from your
Macintosh to another Macintosh. Running this utility will tell you if
you are having cabling problems or a problem with the adapter
communicating with other devices. High errors in receiving packets means
that cables should be checked. High errors in sending packets indicates
that the DaynaPORT Ethernet Adapter should be checked.

Your ethernet cable is known to be good?
Give me a little time to make a 25 - 25 pin scsi cable and I'll try to
be of some help.
