My Dayna looks very happy to work, sorry I made a mess of my system otherwise I could walk through it with you. A normal cable would be better, its probably the reason your router doesn't see the mac. Don't know if the problem needs a clean install, try another cable and see. The tools provided should help. My wee mac hasn't been played with for a while, it will do me good. I don't recommend reinstalling unless needed. The installer is pretty good, try the cable first. :) You dont have to use a mac to get the disks, try the faq's, gamba's (wonderful site) or even system6 heaven for more info if needed. I like Basilisk II myself. I'll post something once I've sorted this system out, I spent time on the cable so I hope it works. ;) Interesting and sometimes difficult, the reward is it works everytime on a mac, if you do it right, until the next one...
